Marketing Manager, CI & UK (12 month FTC)
We are looking for an experienced and result-driven Marketing Manager to provide maternity cover for this exciting role in the Marketing team.
This role can be based in either our Jersey or Guernsey office.
Your responsibilities will include
- Building, planning, implementing and assessing the overall digital marketing strategy for our local market products working with Group Brand and our external digital agency.
- Managing the marketing strategy for local Channel Island products along with the life-cycle management of current customers.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest technology and best practises, and industry and market trends.
- Managing and overseeing various digital marketing campaigns.
- Measuring ROI and KPIs for the product lines you are responsible for.
- Utilising the CRM system to formulate local marketing plans.
- Suggesting activities for improving the quality of online content.
- The promotion of Nudge, our financial wellbeing programme.
- Conducting market research to identify potential opportunities for growth in existing markets or new markets.
- Working with the Channel Island marketing team, Group Brand, Group Communications and business to execute the annual marketing plan and life-cycle management plan for local products.
- Working with the Marketing Business Partners in each jurisdiction leveraging Group Brand and Communication functions ensuring consistency of message and tone of voice.
- Liaising with all third-party providers including design, print and PR agencies.
Your qualifications and skills include
- 3 years of experience in a marketing role.
- 3 years of experience in developing and implementing marketing strategies.
- Experience working with a CRM system and client segmentation.
- Good knowledge of all different digital and traditional marketing channels as well as online marketing tools and best practices.
- 3 years of hands‑on experience with SEO, Google Analytics and CRM software.
- Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on Butterfield’s success.
- Good time‑management skills as well as interpersonal and communication skills.
