A homely nursery, highly rated by parents. Welcome to Buttercups Acton. We are an award-winning nursery on Old Oak Road near Acton, Shepherds Bush and Hammersmith. Our high standards of care, highly qualified team and our commitment to education have made us the exceptional nursery we are today.
Our Nursery Head Teacher Toni has been working for Buttercups for over 25 years. She is constantly looking for new ways to develop the team and the nursery and believes in building fantastic partnerships with parents.
Great FacilitiesButtercups Acton is a homely nursery close to East Acton station. Its bright classrooms, spread over 4 floors, have ample resources. Our recently refurbished garden is spacious and packed with toys, activities and things to explore.
Great TeamOur qualified, caring team members receive ongoing training, both on and off-site. This nurturing and development continues throughout their time with us, inspiring the level of care and education your child receives. All children are allocated a key-person when they start, someone who is committed to their well-being. We have a gentle settling-in process as we know that some children find it harder to adjust than others.
Child-centred CareAt Buttercups the child comes first and we have different resources to fit their growing needs. The Baby Room is warm and snuggly with a separate room for sleeping. Our well-resourced classrooms for designated age groups are filled with innovative and durable play equipment built from solid wood, which inspire play and promote learning. The top floor is the home of our preschoolers. Within it, our qualified teachers use a range of teaching philosophies to cater for children's differing learning styles and give children the best start possible. Buttercups children leave us for school with confidence, curiosity and a zest for learning.
Safety and SecurityWe have CCTV throughout the nursery and all our staff have an enhanced DBS check and First Aid training. Healthy meals are cooked freshly every day by our own cook, who can cater for any dietary requirements.
Practical InformationOpen 8am - 6pm. Buggy storage for under 2s, bike and scooter storage for older children.
