Overview

Do you have a wealth of knowledge in technical procedures and systems along with experience in managing a high performing team?

This role includes supporting our technical team, creating detailed show reports, stage plans, and schedules for the technical support team to ensure smooth running of day/evening entertainments.

You will run technical and dress rehearsals alongside the director.

Working with our team, you will liaise with production and entertainment leadership teams to deliver all shows to Butlin's high standards.

This is a physically demanding role; manual labour is involved, including lifting and carrying equipment and sets (including unloading and loading of vehicles) as well as acting as security personnel to safeguard equipment and performers.

Throughout your shift you will ensure the correct storage and regular maintenance of scenery and scenic properties, including implementation of health and safety procedures.

Responsibilities Create detailed show reports, stage plans, and schedules for the technical support team to ensure smooth running of day/evening entertainments.

Run technical and dress rehearsals alongside the director.

Liaise with production and entertainment leadership teams and external parties to deliver all shows to Butlin's standards.

Perform manual handling tasks, including lifting and carrying equipment and sets and loading/unloading vehicles.

Act as security personnel to safeguard equipment and performers where required.

Ensure correct storage and regular maintenance of scenery and scenic properties; implement health and safety procedures.

Qualifications Experience in the entertainments industry with at least 2 years in stage management and leadership experience.

Excellent communication skills and a problem-solving attitude; ability to work to deadlines.

Committed team player who is flexible, enthusiastic and passionate about delivering exceptional product and service.
