We are looking for a passionate manager to join us at our Skegness Resort as an Owners Events Manager for our caravan village. As an Owners Events Manager, you will oversee the Pig & Whistle owners' bar & events venue. You'll be vital in helping our guests create smiles – getting stuck in to give them a great resort experience.
Leading the day-to-day operation of the venue, you will design and deliver an engaging events calendar relevant to all owner profiles (families, couples, seasonal owners, long term owners), working closely with the entertainment team to source and schedule suitable acts. You will drive commercial performance while maintaining and growing owner satisfaction. Safety and legal requirements are paramount, ensuring brand standards are adhered to and health & safety along with food standards are always followed.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Training staff in bar and floor areas, maintaining a high-quality service for our guests' experience.
- Identifying and delivering commercial opportunities such as themed nights, ticketed events, and pre-booked packages.
- Managing stock control, wastage, and variance investigations.
- Demonstrating product knowledge and effective team management.
No day will be the same, and you will need to enjoy thinking on your feet, getting stuck in, and ensuring that our guest experience is always your number one priority.
You should be passionate about leading and developing a team and supporting people through regular 121's and coaching. Delivering an amazing experience to our guests is the most important part of this role, so you should be passionate about every interaction and seek opportunities to improve this wherever possible.
You should have experience of managing rotas based on fluctuating guest volumes and experience in working with a multi-skilled team to support other areas of the business based on guest demand. You should be able to demonstrate experience of leading teams to success, including proficiency in managing performance, coaching the team, delivering team training, setting standards, role-modeling behaviour, problem-solving, providing feedback, and managing multiple priorities while adapting quickly to changing requirements.
