About the Role

Our Splash Waterworld is one of the busiest and most exciting places on resort, packed with thrilling flumes, high-speed slides, various swimming zones, and guests having fun. As a Lifeguard, you'll be right in the middle of it all. You'll be making sure guests are having an amazing time while keeping everyone safe in and around the pool. This isn't just a sit-and-stare role. Whether you're supervising the slides, keeping an eye on the wave pool, or running poolside activities, you'll be creating memorable moments for our guests and building real connections with the people around you. At Butlin's, no two days look the same. Whether you're welcoming families during the school holidays or guests on our adult-only Big Weekenders, you'll be part of one of the busiest teams on resort, helping to keep the fun flowing all year round.

The detail:

  • Full-time role 35 hours per week, worked across 5 days out of 7
  • Includes evenings and weekends
  • Live-in accommodation is available if you're relocating

About You

We're looking for people who are energetic, switched-on, responsible, and love being around others. You stay calm under pressure, communicate clearly, and work well as part of a team. Because this role can be busy and physically demanding, you'll need to be alert, active, and ready to get stuck in.

To join the team, you'll need to:

  • Be a strong and confident swimmer
  • Be aged 18 or over
  • Have excellent awareness and attention to detail
  • Be confident responding to emergency situations

No NPLQ? No problem. If you've got the right attitude and a strong swimming ability, we'll support you in gaining your National Pool Lifeguard Qualification before you start. Previous experience in leisure, hospitality, or a waterpark environment would be an advantage, but most importantly we're looking for people with the right energy, personality, and passion for guest experience.

If this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you. Go on, take the plunge!
