Reward & People Data Analyst - Hemel Hempstead Description This is an exciting new dual role sitting at the heart of our People Team, playing a crucial part in both our Reward strategy and the implementation and ongoing administration of our new HRIS system.
If you love working with data, have a passion for people analytics, and want to make a real impact on how Butlin's rewards and looks after its teams, this could be the perfect fit.
You'll become a trusted member of our People Team, supporting the systems, data and reward programmes that help our teams thrive.
On the Reward side, you'll help deliver some of our most important annual people processes, including our Annual Pay Review, bonus schemes and legislative reporting such as Gender Pay Gap reporting.
You'll also keep our existing reward and benefits programmes running smoothly - from B Rewarded! and Backstage Pass to Long Service Awards and our salary sacrifice car scheme, while supporting the introduction of new benefits and incentives as we continue to evolve our offering.
Alongside this, you'll use data to tell the story behind our people.
You'll produce regular reports, respond to business requests for analysis and benchmarking, and provide insights that support informed decision-making across the organisation.
As we introduce our new HRIS, you'll play an important part in preparing, cleansing and validating People data, helping ensure our information is accurate, consistent and ready for the future.
You'll also support data governance activities and help document People process that will underpin our new system.
About You You'll enjoy working with data but never lose sight of the people behind it.
You're analytical, organised and detail-oriented, with the confidence to question anomalies and the curiosity to understand what the numbers are really telling you.
You'll be comfortable managing confidential information with integrity and enjoy collaborating with colleagues across different teams to find practical solutions and improve ways of working.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise We're looking for someone who has: Experience in HR, Reward or People Analytics with a strong focus on data analysis.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Experience creating engaging data visualisations, ideally using Power BI, Tableau or R.
A good understanding of HR processes, reward principles and legal compliance, including payroll and tax considerations.
Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving data issues.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain insights clearly to different audiences.
The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
It would be great if you also have: Experience with statistical modelling or descriptive statistics.
Previous experience working with an HRIS platform or supporting HR systems implementation.
Experience administering reward or benefits within a large, multi-site organisation.
