We’re looking for a Junior Kitchen Manager/Sous Chef for our Papa John’s kitchen.
Responsibilities
- Support kitchen operations and lead a team of up to 10 (reporting to the Kitchen Manager/Head Chef).
- Ensure guests remain the central focus of all operational decisions, monitoring experience and developing action plans for continuous improvement.
- Manage resources, recruitment, and selection to build a high‑performing team.
- Deliver food cost budgets, effective menu planning, cooking to standards and specification.
- Maintain food hygiene standards and health and safety in line with legislation and company policies.
- Manage margins, control costs and oversee all health, safety and hygiene related tasks.
Qualifications
- Experience in a similar level role.
- Level 3 Food Safety qualification (or equivalent).
- Confidence in leading a team to consistently deliver high standards in a fast‑paced, busy kitchen environment.
- Hardworking, determined, reliable and proactive in improving team performance.
- Energetic, enthusiastic, high‑spirited and fun‑loving, with a strong focus on guest experience.
