Your Responsibilities
- Ensure Guest Safety: Monitor the pool area with keen attention to detail.
- Exceptional Customer Service: Engage with guests and provide a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.
- Run Poolside Activities: Create memorable experiences through fun and engaging activities.
Working Conditions
This part-time role involves working 8 hours over the weekend, which can be split between Saturday and Sunday or completed in a single day. Expect increased hours during school holidays, including half-terms, summer, and Christmas. The pay rate is £12.71 per hour.
About You
We’re looking for enthusiastic individuals who can connect with a diverse range of guests. Here’s what you need:
- Strong Swimming Skills: You must be a confident swimmer with the ability to monitor the pool during busy times.
- Attention to Detail: Your focus on safety is paramount.
- Lifeguard Qualification: If you have a previous lifeguard qualification, fantastic! If not, we’re happy to support you in obtaining your NPLQ.
- Team Player: You’ll work alongside a fantastic team, but also need to be comfortable supervising independently.
- Flexibility and Reliability: Our business operates 7 days a week, so punctuality and adaptability are essential.
Butlin’s Swim Test Includes:
- Swimming 50m in under 75 seconds
- Treading Water
- Surface Diving
- Climbing out of the pool unaided
