In this dynamic role, you won’t be confined to just one department. Instead, you’ll have the chance to work across various teams throughout our resort, ensuring our guests have a fantastic time during their stay. As a lifeguard, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining a fun and safe environment at Splash Waterworld, where safety is our top priority.
We’re seeking individuals with a keen eye for detail and a warm, engaging approach to customer service. You’ll also lead and support poolside activities, helping to craft memorable moments for our guests.
Key Responsibilities
We’re looking for spirited, fun-loving multi-taskers who thrive on learning and collaborating with a vibrant team. As a Team Member + 1, your week will look like this:
- On Mondays and Fridays, you’ll be cleaning our accommodations.
- For the remainder of your contracted hours, you’ll take on the role of a lifeguard.
No two days will be the same, and you’ll relish the variety of working alongside different team members and guests!
If you already hold a lifeguard qualification, that’s fantastic! If not, don’t worry—we’ll help you get there. If you can pass the Butlin’s swim test, we’ll enroll you in the NPLQ course, providing you with all the training you need to kickstart your lifeguarding career.
Swim Test Requirement:
If selected, you’ll be invited to complete a Butlin’s swim test, which includes:
- Swimming 50m in under 75 seconds
- Treading water
- Surface diving
- Climbing out of the pool unaided
