About The Role
We are looking for an experienced carpet and/or flooring fitter to join our Facilities Team in Bognor Regis. As a member of the Facilities team, you will proactively support the wider Facilities team in all operational aspects of flooring across our guest accommodation. This role supports the entire resort and at times will require you to work with internal and external service providers. The work will also involve planned and unplanned work across the estate. You will be carrying out planned and unplanned flooring works to current legislative standards and will plan and evaluate repairs, replacement parts, inventory and innovation. Relevant tools and equipment are all provided. Typical working hours cover 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.30am-5pm. There may be occasions of evening or weekend work to support the wider Facilities team but advance notice will be given.
About You
You should be able to demonstrate experience in working in a maintenance environment with a flooring specialism. You will have the ability to prioritise work and work to deadlines and have working knowledge and experience of relevant regulations and H&S procedures. You should have good communication skills and take pride in detailed record keeping. You should hold a professional and positive approach at all times in the working environment and enjoy working both as part of a team and individually. Being a great team player is essential and you should also enjoy the buzz of a busy environment. No day will ever be the same, so you should be happy to try new things and chat to lots of different people.
