Junior Kitchen Manager

We’re looking for a Junior Kitchen Manager to join the Butlin's Buffets Department based in Skegness.

Reporting to the Kitchen Manager, you will support the running of the kitchen and lead a large team of chefs, stepping up in the Manager’s absence.

You will be passionate about delivering an exceptional guest experience and will monitor performance to develop action plans, focusing on continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership to the kitchen team, including daily briefings and staff development.
  • Handle stock control, review food presentation and maintain high quality.
  • Deliver food cost budgets through effective menu planning and upholding cooking standards.
  • Ensure food hygiene, health and safety compliance in line with legislation and company policies.
  • Maintain training schedules and performance development plans, acting as a role model of the Butlin’s way of working.
  • Lead and develop team performance in the main buffet serving up to 3,000 guests per service.
  • Implement process improvements to consistently meet brand standards.
  • Manage margins, control costs and uphold health, safety and hygiene standards.
  • Working Hours and Benefits

This role covers a 5‑day working week over 7 days, total 40 hours with shift time from 6 am to 12 pm. The role does not include onsite accommodation.

Cleaning Team Member

We are looking for cleaning team members that can provide that extra bit of sparkle to our guests’ holidays by keeping the resort clean, tidy and pristine.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean main venues and toilets using electrical and mechanical cleaning equipment (training provided).
  • Handle chemicals for venue cleaning safely (training provided).
  • Perform external road cleaning, empty general waste and recycling bins.
  • Move furniture to accommodate different activities.
  • Clean and disinfect toilets and changing rooms.
  • Working Hours

Evening shift from 5 pm to 2 am. Applicants must be over 18 for lone‑working requirements. Start and finish times may vary depending on break type.
