About The Role
Reporting to theAccommodation Productivity Manager you will help with the end-to-end planning of our accommodation availability and cleaning. You will be responsible for understanding the forecast of room bookings by type and ensuring all room bookings are allocated on time and accurately, adhering to notes and paid for upgrades.
You will need to understand the status of rooms at any given time ensuring all rooms allocated are fit for use. You will maintain a level of service recovery rooms ensuring Resort teams have back up rooms available when problems arise. Working to the required number of rooms on sale.
We will ask you to put the guest experience at the forefront of the process, ensuring you are maximising opportunities to assist guests in having a great experience, whilst supporting the resort achieve NPS goals.
You will need to communicate directly with Accommodation & Guest Services Team Members ensuring Resort understands status of rooms ready for check in. You will need to follow documented standard operating procedures when processing requests for Entertainment/Internal or External Visitors, ensuring that a fully audited process for zero cost bookings is adhered to at all times.
To communicate with key room team effectively and in a timely manner any changes or amendments to allocations. Ensuring all booked add on\’s and special requests are identified and planned for accordingly. You will also work alongside our Accommodation and Facilities teams to plan for refurbishment works in accommodation units.
This role is fixed term for 12 months.
About You
If you have a warm, friendly manner and love to chat to people both face to face and over the phone, we can teach you the ins and outs of working as part of our team with this administration-based role. Being a great team player is essential and you should also enjoy the buzz of a busy environment. No day will ever be the same, so you should be happy to try new things and chat to lots of different people.
You should be able to have effective communication, work under pressure and to deadlines and hold an analytical mind. You should enjoy organisation & methodical planning, you can adapt when problems arise & resolve and understand this role requires close attention to detail.
This role is predominately a desk based role working on systems using various programmes and reporting to successfully fulfil our guest\’s accommodation and holiday requirements. Computer literacy and competence in excel is essential. Typical working hours cover 40 hours per week on a wide variety of shifts every day with Mondays, Fridays as necessary, weekend working is on a rota basis.
