Operations Support Partner – Leisure

We are looking for an Ops Support Partner to join us to develop and support the strategic plan to ensure safe, compliant, consistent, high standards of delivery for our agreed ways of working to drive the best guest experience across leisure.
You will provide assurance to the Butlins leadership that we are operating in a safe and compliant manner through appropriate review & reporting. Additionally, you will develop and evolve the Butlins policies and ways of working for all leisure activities to ensure that we deliver a safe, compliant, and consistent experience for the guest. With this in mind, you will develop relationships with regulators and governing bodies to ensure that Butlins is appropriately represented, knowledgeable, fully compliant and prepared for changes such as legislation.
Commercial capabilities will be a large focus and you will drive commercial performance by supporting effective yield management and ensuring availability of proposition through comprehensive planning with relevant teams.
The scope of the role will include:
- Fairgrounds including Go Karts
- Swimming pools and Spa
- Sports & Activities
- Regulated activities including archery/shooting
About You
- Experience in a leadership role in the leisure / activity sector.
- Previous experience of developing safe and effective operating policies & procedures.
- Experience in investigating incidents and identifying appropriate resolution.
- Can demonstrate the co-ordination of multiple partners, internal and external to a robust operational calendar.
- Health and safety qualification – NEBOSH Gen cert or higher.
- Ideally experience of influencing multi-site location within a development / compliance role.
- Demonstrable success in influencing teams to success in managing performance, delivering compliance, improving guest experience, reducing problems and risk, communicating to large scales teams and relationship management of external partners.
- Ability to manage key priorities and adapt quickly to change.
- Experience in swimming pools, pool plant management & fairground technical or operational advantageous.
