Description Join Our Lifeguard Team at Splash Waterworld! Our lifeguards play a vital role in making sure guests have a fun and safe experience in our pool and on the flumes at Splash Waterworld. Safety is our top priority, so this position demands excellent attention to detail, alongside a warm and engaging approach to customer service. You’ll also lead and support poolside activities, helping create unforgettable moments for our guests. About You What We’re Looking For Friendly and confident individuals who enjoy interacting with guests of all ages Strong swimmers with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to safety Reliable, flexible, and punctual team players who can also work independently when supervising areas independently Our business is open 7 days a week and therefore flexibility, reliability and punctuality are all essential, as you will form an important part of a team. If you have a previous lifeguard qualification that\’s brilliant, however if you can pass the Butlins swim test we will also put you through your NPLQ course, giving you all the training you need to start your career in lifeguarding. Swim Test Requirement: If selected, you’ll be invited to complete a Butlin’s swim test, which includes: Swimming 50m in under 75 seconds Treading water Surface diving Climbing out of the pool unaided Applicants under 18 will need parental consent to take part in the swim test.
