Overview

A dynamic and rapidly expanding organisation is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Director to join their team in Poole. This role offers a salary of up to 90,000 and requires full on-site presence.

This position will be responsible for the existing fulfilment and category management functions and the continued sourcing of new suppliers to improve lead times, quality and cost.

Ideal candidates will possess proven experience in supply chain and procurement within a manufacturing background.

Role responsibilities

  • Manage gross profit and price reductions through cost-saving initiatives, sourcing better value products, rationalising ranges, and developing own brand products.
  • Monitor and improve KPIs related to team performance, supplier management, and stock status, support growth of own brand in collaboration with sales and marketing.
  • Support tendering, bid preparation, and securing supplier discounts; proactively assist in leveraging new business opportunities.
  • Oversee product range lifecycle management, data accuracy, stock rationalisation, and ensure compliance with product documentation and certifications.
  • Manage the Fulfilment Team to ensure timely customer orders, supplier deliveries, and maintain efficient operational processes.
  • Lead, coach, and support a team with enthusiasm and professionalism, ensuring strong work ethics and alignment with company values.
