Butler Ross are pleased to be supporting our public-sector client with their recruitment of a Procurement and Governance Policy Lead on a permanent basis. This individual will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of procurement policy and procedure and other relevant documentation, as well as ensuring compliance and adherence to across key stakeholder groups.

Position Overview

£60-65k Salary + Bonus and other incentives
Hybrid Working - circa 1 day/week ideal, less is viable

Responsibilities Include (non exhaustive)

  • Developing and maintaining procurement policies, procedures, and guidelines
  • Leading development and implementation of the governance frameworks and central procurement templates
  • Monitoring and evaluating procurement processes, workflows and system design and compliance
  • Serving as a subject matter expert on regulated procurement policy and governance

Required Experience

  • PA23 Knowledge, and hands-on experience with, is absolutely essential!
  • Prior experience implementing and designing procurement policy and governance frameworks
  • Strong stakeholder management capabilities

Not Required - but experience with AI enablement regarding S2C systems and the like, would be worth mentioning.
