I am currently working with a fantastic organisation who are looking for a Contracts Officer to join the team! This role offers excellent progression opportunities and is located in Wigston with a salary up to £37,000 (DOE) The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Contract Officer and have a good understanding of contract law and contract management principles. Role responsibilities of the Contracts Officer include: Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements Collaborating with internal stakeholders, to ensure alignment on contract terms and conditions Identifying and mitigating potential risks associated with contract terms and conditions Staying informed about relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends affecting contracts Supporting the implementation of the sustainability policy and supporting operational delivery strategy by adopting sustainable principles and practices Providing guidance and support to internal teams on contract-related matter Role specifications of Contracts Officer include: Proven experience working as a Contract Officer or in a similar role Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite Proven experience of drafting, reviewing and negotiating contractual terms and conditions The ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional TeamsSalary £34k-£37k This role offers hybrid/remote working This role will be well suited if you have held a role as a Contracts Officer, Contracts Manager, Commercial Officer, Contracts Specialist, Contracts Analyst, Contracts Administratpr, Sub Contracts Officer, Compliance officer or a Sub-Contract Buyer
