Butler Ross are pleased to be supporting our client, a leading services and solutions provider to the marine and offshore industry, in their search for a highly capable Contracts Manager (prior experience in this sector is not required!) This is an exciting opportunity for an individual looking to make a real impact at an organisation, where you can see clear results in the work you perform – as you will be taking the lead managing complex supplier relationships, negotiating favourable T\’s & C\’s , contractual agreements and SLA\’s.

The salary on offer for this position ranges from Β£55,000 – Β£60,000, plus benefits such as private medical and solid pension contributions. The role will operate on a hybrid-working basis, with time to be split between their office (Bournemouth area), home-working, and supplier visits – the model of which is open to discussion.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for key categories, focusing on long-term value creation

Leading supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management processes.
Building and maintaining strong supplier relationships, effectively managing supplier performance
Monitoring and managing supply chain risks, market trends and cost factors
Managing internal stakeholders and collaborating across teams to align procurement strategies and project requirements
Driving continuous improvement across the organisation, especially procurement processes, tools, and supplier performance.

Ideal Experience

Strong negotiation, commercial and contractual understanding
Experience with contract management and service level agreements (SLA\’s)
Prior experience with sourcing and supplier development
Excellent supplier relationship management capabilities
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytic skills
