Butler Ross are currently supporting an aerospace / defence organisation who are looking to recruit a Commercial Manager on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with some prior commercial experience, who are looking for a rewarding position managing high-impact and high-importance contracts.
The salary on offer for this opportunity is £55-£60,000 and it operates on a hybrid-working basis at their office in the Bournemouth area: 3-days in, 2 from home.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading commercial activities from bid to closeout; the full contract life-cycle
- Advising stakeholders on commercial /contractual matters
- Negotiating and managing contracts with clients and suppliers
- Driving supplier performance and risk management strategies.
- Ensuring contract success and continuous improvement
You will have the following skills and experience:
- Proven experience across contract and commercial management
- Strong stakeholder management capabilities
- Ideally – experience within defence, government departments, or similar organisations.
