An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced International SIOP Lead to join a global manufacturing organisation and take ownership of its international Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) process. This is a highly visible role with responsibility for developing, implementing and continuously improving SIOP across EMEA, APAC, Japan and LATAM. Working across Supply Chain, Commercial, Finance, Product and regional teams, you will establish a robust planning cadence that aligns demand, supply, inventory and capacity while enabling effective, data-driven decision making.
This position would suit an experienced SIOP Lead, IBP Lead, S&OP Lead, Supply Chain Planning Lead, Senior Supply Chain Planning Manager or similar professional with extensive experience of leading SIOP/IBP processes within a complex international organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end International SIOP process across EMEA, APAC, Japan and LATAM.
- Develop, implement and continuously improve SIOP processes, governance and standard ways of working.
- Lead the monthly SIOP cycle encompassing Product Review, Demand Review, Supply Review and Executive SIOP Review.
- Coordinate stakeholders, timelines, agendas, inputs and outputs across multiple functional workstreams.
- Facilitate cross-functional discussions to identify risks, opportunities and trade-offs and support timely executive decision making.
- Lead scenario planning across demand, supply, capacity and inventory.
- Ensure decisions, risks, opportunities and actions are effectively documented, communicated and progressed.
- Provide the connection between International and Global SIOP processes, ensuring regional outputs and global feedback are effectively integrated.
- Develop executive-level presentations, KPI reporting and dashboards.
- Drive increased SIOP maturity through improved reporting, planning capability, governance and system enhancements.
Candidate Requirements
- Significant experience within Supply Chain Planning, including demand, supply, inventory and capacity planning.
- At least 5 years' experience leading SIOP/S&OP or IBP processes within an international environment.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain planning.
- Demonstrable experience facilitating senior-level SIOP/IBP meetings and influencing stakeholders across functions, countries and time zones.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical capability with the ability to translate complex planning data into clear insights and recommendations.
- Experience developing SIOP KPIs, dashboards and performance measures.
- Good understanding of the financial impact of SIOP decisions, including revenue, margin, working capital and inventory.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills alongside experience with Power BI and ERP systems.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent required; Master's degree advantageous.
- APICS/ASCM, IBF, Lean Six Sigma or PMP qualifications would be beneficial.
- Flexibility to undertake international travel as required, potentially up to 25%.
