Butler Ross are delighted to bring you this procurement Specialist opportunity for one of our long-term clients. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual to work on some of the UK's largest infrastructure projects supporting the UK's self-sufficiency and climate change preparations.
Ideal candidates will have a procurement background either in the public sector or utilities organisations, and/or specific category experience with Capital Projects or Operations.
Position Overview
£40,000-45,000 p.a. salary
Peterborough location (2-3 days/week onsite)
Bonus Scheme
Excellent Pension
Candidates will be expected to have the following:
(Desirable) Experience in Procurement of operational services and/or capital projects OR
(Desirable) Experience with public procurement regulations or similar (e.g., PCR2015, UCR2016, PA23)
Demonstrable experience of running a complex tender process including the RFI/RFP process
The ability to run complex strategic sourcing events from strategy to completion
