Candidates will have previous experience within purchasing or procurement specifically within a manufacturing environment.
Role responsibilities of the Buyer include: Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, monitoring performance to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and on-time delivery.
Negotiate pricing and commercial terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings while maintaining quality and service standards.
Maintain accurate procurement data, monitor inventory levels, and support demand planning to optimise stock availability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Production, Engineering, Warehouse and Planning to support business objectives and resolve supply issues.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by supporting procurement strategies, supplier performance reviews, and operational excellence across the purchasing function.
