What You’ll Do:
- Take full ownership of customer rebate programs, from setup to reconciliation and final settlement.
- Examine historical payments and accounts to detect over-payments, duplicates, or discrepancies.
- Maintain meticulous records and ensure all rebate activity is fully compliant with contracts, policies, and audit requirements.
- Work closely with Sales, Commercial, and Supply Chain teams to address queries, clarify agreements, and resolve disputes efficiently.
- Produce clear, actionable reporting for finance and commercial teams to support decision-making.
- Contribute to process improvements, automation initiatives, and system upgrades to streamline rebate management.
Who You Are:
- Exceptionally detail-oriented credit control professional with a mindset geared towards investigation and problem-solving.
- Experienced in rebate accounting, trade spend management, or promotional finance within FMCG or a fast-moving commercial environment.
- Confident handling large datasets, with strong Excel and ERP system skills (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Proactive in identifying errors and discrepancies, and skilled at implementing solutions to prevent recurrence.
- A strong communicator, able to collaborate with finance and non-finance teams alike.
