I am currently recruiting for an exciting business based in Accrington who are looking for a Talent Acquisition Executive to join their team on a long term fixed term contract, with the possibility of a permanent contract. You will be joining a friendly and welcoming people team, to help attract and hire colleagues into the business, with responsibility for the full life-cycle of hiring, including ensuring candidates have an excellent experience, and managing internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the end to end recruitment process, from briefing hiring managers to onboarding of successful candidates
- Writing engaging and exciting job advertisements, advertising positions through a number of professional channels
- Building strong internal relationships with hiring managers, understanding requirements, managing expectations and sharing recruitment advice
- Sifting through applications, screening CVs and conducting telephone and video interviews
- Coordinating assessment activities
- Providing feedback to candidates and hiring managers
- Using a proactive approach to finding candidates, including utilising CV databases, social media and networking
- Management of the ATS (Applicant Tracking System), ensuring accurate data and reporting
- Ensuring all recruitment activity complies with employment law, equal opportunities and internal policies
The ideal candidate will have the following skills, experience and attributes:
- Previous experience in a recruitment or talent acquisition role, ideally with some experience in a fast paced industry
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build strong rapport with colleagues and candidates at all levels
- Excellent IT literacy
- The ability to prioritise workload effectively whilst managing multiple vacancies
- Organised and proactive approach
