An established and growing accountancy firm is seeking an Accounts Audit Manager or Assistant Manager to join its Corporate Services team in Bury St Edmunds. Role Responsibilities:
- Lead audit assignments from planning through to completion for a varied portfolio of clients.
- Manage accounts preparation and corporate tax compliance assignments.
- Review audit and accounts files prior to Partner or Senior Manager review.
- Supervise, mentor and support junior staff, providing regular feedback and development guidance.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and meetings.
- Prepare budgets, manage client deadlines and monitor workflow delivery.
- Identify opportunities for additional services and support wider business development activities.
- Attend client premises and develop a strong understanding of client operations.
