The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of private clients, review personal tax compliance work, provide advice on complex tax matters, support the development of junior team members, and build strong client relationships while ensuring a high standard of service delivery.
Role Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of private client tax compliance work, ensuring assignments are delivered on time and to a high standard.
Review personal tax returns prepared by junior team members.
Prepare technical advice on complex private client tax matters for review by senior colleagues.
Identify tax planning opportunities for existing clients.
Attend pre-year-end and completion meetings with private tax clients where required.
Maintain strong client relationships and provide regular updates on the progress of assignments.
Monitor work in progress (WIP) and prepare draft fee proposals for approval.
Identify changes in the scope of client work and propose appropriate additional fees where necessary.
