We're partnering with a well-established business in Preston that's looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their finance team on an immediate start temporary contract. If you're local, available now, and can hit the ground running, we'd love to hear from you.

The role

You'll become part of a busy finance team, providing day-to-day support across a range of accounting duties, including:

  • Processing purchase and sales ledger invoices
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Assisting with payment runs
  • Resolving supplier and customer queries
  • Supporting month-end activities
  • Maintaining accurate financial records

We're looking for someone who

  • Has previous Accounts Assistant or finance administration experience
  • Is available to start immediately
  • Lives within a commutable distance of Preston
  • Is happy to work on-site Monday to Friday
  • Has excellent attention to detail and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
