Job Description

Part-Time Temporary Payroll Administrator

Location: Office-based
Hours: Part-time, 2-3 days per week
Contract: Temporary

Butler Rose are delighted to be recruiting for a Part-Time Temporary Payroll Administrator on behalf of a valued client. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced payroll professional looking for a flexible role, working 2-3 days per week.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the end-to-end payroll process, including employee starters and leavers, payroll amendments, timesheet administration, holiday and sickness records, pension administration, and payroll reporting. You will also assist with payroll compliance, HMRC submissions, and employee payroll queries.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Previous payroll administration experience
  • Knowledge of payroll legislation, HMRC submissions, and pension processes
  • Experience processing starters, leavers, and contractual changes
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple payroll-related records and spreadsheets
  • Experience with payroll software and Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills

This role would suit a highly organised payroll professional who can work independently and maintain accuracy in a busy payroll environment.
