We are currently recruiting for an experienced HR Advisor to join a busy and fast‑paced operational environment on a 3‑month contract. This is a hands‑on role, working closely with managers to deliver practical, commercially focused HR support across multiple sites. This position would suit a confident HR professional with strong Employee Relations experience who enjoys being visible on‑site and partnering with managers to drive fair, consistent and legally compliant people practices.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing a wide range of Employee Relations cases including disciplinaries, grievances, absence and performance management
- Providing expert advice and guidance to managers on complex ER matters
- Ensuring fair and consistent decision‑making in line with UK employment law and company policy
- Supporting employee engagement initiatives and promoting a positive workplace culture
- Resolving workplace conflicts in a professional and timely manner
- Supporting relationships with trade unions and employee representatives where applicable
- Managing the employee lifecycle including promotions, transfers, family leave and exits
- Maintaining accurate and compliant employee records in line with UK GDPR requirements
To be considered for this HR Advisor role you will have:
- Proven experience in an HR Advisor role with a strong Employee Relations focus
- Solid knowledge of UK employment law and its practical application
- Experience within a manufacturing, industrial or operational environment (desirable)
- CIPD Level 3 (or equivalent experience)
