Salary up to £45,000 (Negotiable, depending on experience level). ButlerRose is delighted to be supporting one of our clients who has a great opportunity for a Mixed Tax Semi Senior/Senior to join their team. The role will give you the opportunity to manage a portfolio of clients.

Role Requirements:

  • Looking after a personal tax client portfolio of around 330 clients, which involves preparing personal tax returns and assisting with client queries and advice.
  • Control of the client portfolio with input from other seniors, manager, and partner at busy times.
  • Contacting HMRC to change tax codes, chase refunds, and handle other ad hoc queries.
  • Reviewing corporation tax returns.
  • Helping prepare P11Ds.
  • Attending client meetings or phone calls to discuss tax returns and assist with any queries.
  • Preparing and submitting Capital Gains Tax returns.
  • Registering Trusts on the Trust Registration Service.

Personal Requirements:

  • ATT, CTA Part Qualified or Qualified by Experience.
  • Personal Tax Experience Essential.
  • Clear written and oral communication skills, with an ability to explain complex concepts succinctly and accurately.
  • Problem-solving abilities to deal with challenges effectively.
