Butler Rose is delighted to be partnering with a well-respected professional organisation based in Milton Keynes to recruit a Supplier Relationship Manager for their technology and business services to join their newly established procurement function. This is a six-month temporary opportunity that offers good flexibility, hybrid working (two days a week in the office in Milton Keynes), excellent work environment, and a strong work–life balance, with a pay rate of up to £450 a day via Umbrella company. These roles will play a critical part in shaping and embedding the SRM approach, helping to develop best practice processes and tools while engaging with senior stakeholders across the business. Support the development and implementation of the Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) framework • Help establish best practice processes and governance standards • Prioritise engagement with high-risk and strategically important suppliers • Assist with supplier segmentation and risk categorisation aligned with governance requirements • Support reporting requirements relating to supplier risk, controls, and mitigation strategies • Contribute to the development of an evolving SRM manual and operating model Newly formed procurement function currently building capability and structure • Focus on identifying and managing material, strategic, and high-risk suppliers • Governance-driven environment with strong regulatory oversight Strong experience in Supplier Relationship Management, Procurement, or Vendor Management • Strong understanding of supplier risk management and supplier segmentation •
