Butler Rose is recruiting a management accountant for a well-established organisation in Newton Abbot on a fixed-term basis for 15 months. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you'll be responsible for delivering accurate management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and statutory reporting, while partnering with operational stakeholders to support business performance. This is a hybrid working role with 1-2 days required in the office each week and a flexible working environment.
Key responsibilities
- Production of monthly management accounts and commentary
- Budgeting, forecasting and financial planning
- Balance sheet reconciliations, accruals and prepayments
- KPI and performance reporting
- Year-end accounts, audit and VAT support
- Financial business partnering across the organisation
- Process improvement and financial controls
About you
- Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA) or part-qualified / qualified by experience
- Strong management accounting background
- Excellent Excel and analytical skills
- Confident communicating with non-finance stakeholders
- Proactive, organised and commercially minded
