We are looking for an experienced and driven Management Accountant to join a well-established, fast-growing industrial group with a truly global footprint and exciting progression opportunities. This role offers clear development to Finance Manager and beyond, along with potential study support.

Location: Cinderford, Gloucestershire

Salary: £42,000 - £50,000 per year (dependent on qualifications and experience)

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent, On-site

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining and reconciling the cashbook
  • Preparing weekly and monthly supplier payment runs for authorisation
  • Credit control, including resolving outstanding queries
  • Assisting with purchasing and raising purchase orders
  • Preparing and posting journal entries
  • Producing month-end management accounts
  • Maintaining the fixed assets register
  • Costing products accurately
  • Planning and attending stock counts and valuations
  • Submitting quarterly VAT returns
  • Ad-hoc finance duties as required

Qualifications

  • AAT Level 4 qualified, or qualified by experience, with at least 2 years' manufacturing sector experience
  • Skilled in Sage 50 and confident with Microsoft Office
  • Highly motivated, analytical, and able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Organised, accurate, and able to meet deadlines under pressure
