We are looking for an experienced and driven Management Accountant to join a well-established, fast-growing industrial group with a truly global footprint and exciting progression opportunities. This role offers clear development to Finance Manager and beyond, along with potential study support.
Location: Cinderford, Gloucestershire
Salary: £42,000 - £50,000 per year (dependent on qualifications and experience)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent, On-site
Responsibilities
- Maintaining and reconciling the cashbook
- Preparing weekly and monthly supplier payment runs for authorisation
- Credit control, including resolving outstanding queries
- Assisting with purchasing and raising purchase orders
- Preparing and posting journal entries
- Producing month-end management accounts
- Maintaining the fixed assets register
- Costing products accurately
- Planning and attending stock counts and valuations
- Submitting quarterly VAT returns
- Ad-hoc finance duties as required
Qualifications
- AAT Level 4 qualified, or qualified by experience, with at least 2 years' manufacturing sector experience
- Skilled in Sage 50 and confident with Microsoft Office
- Highly motivated, analytical, and able to work independently and as part of a team
- Organised, accurate, and able to meet deadlines under pressure
