Senior Accountant - Accountancy Practice Harrow (Hybrid) £40,000 - £55,000 DOE
Butler Rose Public Practice is delighted to be supporting a well-established and growing accountancy firm in Harrow in their search for a Senior Accountant to join their Business Services team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified practice professional to manage a varied client portfolio while working closely with Managers and Partners in delivering high-quality accounts, tax, and advisory services.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of owner-managed business clients
Act as the main day-to-day contact, building strong client relationships
Prepare and review statutory accounts under FRS102 and FRS105
Prepare and review management accounts
Prepare and review corporation tax computations and CT600s
Review VAT returns and advise on compliance matters
Support on personal tax and partnership tax returns
Assist with capital allowances and MTD requirements
Review work prepared by junior staff and provide guidance
Support client onboarding onto cloud systems such as Xero
Key Requirements
ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
3 - 5+ years' experience within a UK accountancy practice
Strong technical knowledge across accounts and corporate tax
Good working knowledge of IRIS and Xero
Excellent communication and client-facing skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
