Job Description Senior Accountant/Assistant Manager The firm provides a full range of accounting, audit and tax services to a diverse portfolio of owner-managed and family businesses across Yorkshire. The role offers an excellent opportunity to build strong, long-term client relationships within a collaborative, one-team culture, with genuine autonomy and a strong focus on professional development. Statutory & Management Accounts: Preparing statutory accounts, management accounts, and VAT returns for a varied portfolio of clients. Client Relationship Management: Acting as a key point of contact for clients, building relationships, and visiting client premises to provide accounting support. Assisting with tax compliance and advisory, such as reviewing corporation tax returns and conducting capital allowance reviews. Software Utilization: Utilizing technology and software, including ProAudit, IRIS, Xero and SAGE. Qualified ACA or ACCA (or exam finalist). At least five years of accounting experience, ideally within a practice environment. Strong technical accounting skills, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in Excel.
