Job Description Audit & Accounts Assistant Manager/Manager I'm pleased to be partnering with a successful accountancy practice in Leeds as they look to appoint an Audit & Accounts Assistant Manager/Manager to their team. They're looking for a career-driven and ambitious individual who wants more than just their next role and is keen to build a long-term career within the practice, with genuine opportunities for progression. For the right individual, there is the potential to progress to Partner within the next 2-3 years, dependent on performance, leadership, client development and contribution to the continued growth of the firm. Manage audit assignments from planning through to completion. Review audit files and financial statements, ensuring quality and compliance. Identify risks and communicate findings and recommendations to clients. Prepare and review statutory accounts and management accounts. Prepare and review corporation tax and personal tax returns. Provide practical accounting and tax advice to clients. Identify tax planning opportunities and resolve technical issues. Support Partners/Directors with client development and business growth. Supervise, review and support junior and semi-senior staff. Contribute to staff training and development. Qualified ACA/ACCA or equivalent, or substantial relevant practice experience. Strong experience within an accountancy practice environment. Solid technical knowledge of audit, accounts and taxation. Experience managing or supervising audit and accounts assignments. Excellent organisational and time-management abilities. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work. Confident using accounting, audit and tax software.
