We are currently supporting a leading client to find a motivated Audit Senior to join their dynamic and expanding team in Lancaster. Roles & Responsibilities
- Audit Planning & Execution: Support the planning, execution, and completion of audit assignments in line with UK auditing standards.
- Fieldwork Involvement: Be actively involved in audit fieldwork, including substantive and analytical procedures, often on‑site at client premises.
- Audit Ownership: Take responsibility for specific sections of the audit file, ensuring work is accurate, complete, and well‑documented.
- Statutory Financial Statements: Prepare statutory financial statements from client data and identify key risks or matters for Manager or Partner review.
- Team Supervision: Review work completed by junior team members and provide clear, constructive feedback to support their development.
- Client Communication: Communicate effectively with clients as part of the wider audit team, ensuring any risks are escalated as appropriate.
What You'll Bring
- Qualification: ACA / ACCA qualified, or within 12 months of qualification.
- Experience: Proven experience delivering audit assignments within a UK practice environment.
