Butler Rose Public Practice is delighted to be partnering with one of our clients to recruit for an exciting Internal Audit Senior. This opportunity offers excellent career progression. You will join a well-established and supportive small team, primarily focusing on internal audit assignments, while also gaining exposure to a range of ad hoc project work and wider business initiatives.

Role Requirements:

  • Planning and conducting audits, including designing testing programmes.
  • Researching clients, their industry, and key risks.
  • Analysing financial and operational data to identify issues.
  • Interviewing senior client staff and management.
  • Preparing clear, structured audit reports with recommendations.
  • Managing projects, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
  • Mentoring and training junior team members.
  • Supporting business development through tenders and presentations.

Personal Requirements:

  • CIA, ACA, or ACCA qualified or Finalist.
  • Experience in internal audit, with the ability to scope, plan, and deliver audits.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Confident communication, able to engage with senior stakeholders.
