Interim Management Accountant (6 months) | London (EC2) | £60 - £70K
6 month fixed term contract

Hybrid working (2 days a week in office)
Primary objectives: Maintenance of monthly management accounts and balance sheet clean up.
An international powerhouse recruitment group is looking for the support of an experienced Management Accountant, who boasts the confidence and capability to work autonomously while group leaders' time is diverted to a crucial project.
You will receive full training on process and systems, and will then be expected to take a 'hands-on' approach to end-to-end Management Accounting, and completion of a balance sheet clear up project.
Core duties will include but not be limited to:
- Production of Monthly management accounts including GP analysis, accruals, prepayments, commissions and opex accruals.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliation and investigate anomalies.
- Liaise with counterparts overseas (India) to ensure management accounts, sales reports and balance sheet reconciliations are completed for their brands and to the specific requirements agreed upon.
- Business partnering with each brand SMT helping to maintain financial control, develop and forecast new commission strategies and any new business ventures.
- Investigating variances and responding to queries.
- Prepare and develop ad hoc sales analysis for publication to the business.
- Take the lead in the budgeting for the brands.
- Assist the Group Head of FP&A in ad hoc projects.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Qualified Accountant (would consider latter stage studiers for the right candidate and will offer support to achieve qualification).
- Recruitment (Preferred) or professional services background with international exposure.
- Proven track record in joining new business and getting up to speed with as little lag as possible.
Skills and personal attributes required:
- Strong interpersonal skills - ability to interact with and manage non-finance colleagues.
- Good communication skills.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel Skills (PivotTables, V-Lookups, data manipulation, etc).
- Access Financials, Access Pay and Bill, Cognos TM1 (All advantageous).
- Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Ability to work autonomously and proactively draw information from strong characters within the businesses including senior management.
