Are you a dynamic and commercially astute procurement leader ready to shape an organisation's procurement function from the ground up? We're looking for a creative Head of Procurement to take charge of our client's procurement strategy and lead a talented team in delivering best practice and value-driven services across the organisation.
In this exciting senior leadership role, you'll be at the forefront of transforming how this organisation works with its suppliers - building strong internal and external relationships, driving commercial excellence, and embedding transparency throughout the supply chain. Responsibilities:- Designing and implementing Procurement Strategy to align with organisational goals
- Standardising procurement practices across the business to improve consistency and efficiency
- Driving cost savings, process improvements, and supplier innovation
- Managing high-value, high-risk contracts and strategic negotiations
- Ensuring supplier governance, performance, ESG compliance, and value delivery
- Providing procurement insights and reporting to senior leadership
- Fostering close collaboration with finance, legal, data protection, information security and operational teams
- Leading and developing a newly formed procurement team
- A seasoned Head of Procurement or senior procurement lead with a strong track record in designing and leading procurement functions
- Expert knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and supplier governance
- A commercially minded, results-driven approach with a focus on ethical procurement and long-term value
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder engagement, and negotiation skills
- Experience in procurement transformation, including digital enablement and sustainability initiatives
- Capability to deliver change and design centre-led procurement strategies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement systems
