Senior Account Manager Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 (Negotiable DOE) West Yorkshire - Hybrid Working Available
Butler Rose North Practice is supporting a well-established and growing accountancy practice in West Yorkshire with the recruitment of a Senior Account Manager.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced practice professional looking to join a client-focused firm where they can take ownership of a diverse portfolio, lead and develop a team, and play an important role in the firms continued success.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of owner-managed businesses, limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships.
- Review statutory accounts, corporation tax returns, and personal tax returns.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing proactive accounting, tax, and business advice.
- Lead client meetings and identify opportunities to add value.
- Manage workflow, deadlines, and service delivery across your portfolio.
- Mentor and support junior accountants, providing technical guidance and coaching.
- Assist clients with cloud accounting software including Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, and Dext.
- Support practice growth through exceptional client service and business development activities.
Personal Requirements
- ACCA, ICAEW, or CIMA qualified.
- Minimum of 5 years experience within a UK accountancy practice.
- Strong experience managing client portfolios.
- Knowledge of accounts preparation, corporation tax, and personal tax compliance.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
- Previous experience reviewing work and supporting junior team members.
- Cloud accounting experience would be advantageous.
