We're working with a well-established organisation in Preston that is looking for a hands-on finance professional to join the team on a temporary contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who can hit the ground running, provide financial leadership, and support the business during a busy period.
Key Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day finance function.
Produce accurate monthly management accounts and financial reports.
Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
Support year-end and audit processes.
Analyse financial performance and provide commercial insights.
Lead and support the finance team where required.
Work closely with senior stakeholders to support business decision-making.
About You Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or Qualified by Experience.
Previous experience working as a Financial Controller or in a similar senior finance role.
Available to start immediately.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Confident using finance systems and Microsoft Excel.
Able to work independently and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
