Butler Rose is delighted to be recruiting for a Product Engineer on behalf of a well-established and highly successful manufacturing organisation based in Exeter. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineering professional to join a forward-thinking business, supporting the development and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes within a technically advanced production environment.
The Role
Reporting to the Product Engineering Team Leader, you will play a key role in developing, implementing and maintaining best practice across product engineering activities. You will work closely with production, quality and customer-facing teams to ensure products are manufactured efficiently, meet customer requirements and achieve the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust manufacturing processes and engineering standards.
- Provide technical support to production teams to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality products.
- Manage engineering projects and product-related programmes from concept through to implementation.
- Utilise CAD, CNC and 3D modelling tools to support manufacturing activities.
- Apply Six Sigma and Lean methodologies to identify and resolve manufacturing issues.
