This position plays a pivotal role in handling individual tax affairs and offering bespoke advisory input to a broad client portfolio.
You'll join a friendly and knowledgeable team where internal development and technical excellence are valued and rewarded.
- Role Responsibilities
- Oversee and finalise annual submissions for individual tax clients with minimal supervision required.
- Review work carried out by junior colleagues, offering constructive feedback and support.
- Assist with bespoke advisory work including capital transactions and tax relief applications.
- Handle HMRC communication involving more involved queries or clarifications.
- Help maintain consistent service levels across the team by supporting scheduling and workflow planning.
- Share technical knowledge and offer guidance to less experienced team members.
- Personal Requirements
- ATT, CTA, ACA or ACCA qualification (or equivalent experience).
- Previous experience working in a client-facing tax role within a professional firm.
- Comfortable juggling varied priorities and tight timelines.
- Naturally collaborative, with a willingness to contribute to the wider team's success.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
