Job Description Product Engineer Butler Rose is delighted to be recruiting for a Product Engineer on behalf of a well-established and highly successful manufacturing organisation based in Exeter. Reporting to the Product Engineering Team Leader, you will play a key role in developing, implementing and maintaining best practice across product engineering activities. You will work closely with production, quality and customer-facing teams to ensure products are manufactured efficiently, meet customer requirements and achieve the highest quality standards. Provide technical support to production teams to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality products. Manage engineering projects and product-related programmes from concept through to implementation. Utilise CAD, CNC and 3D modelling tools to support manufacturing activities. Analyse manufacturing data and prepare qualification, scrap and rework reports. Implement process controls and dimensional improvements to enhance product quality. Identify opportunities to reduce costs through process optimisation and waste reduction. Present technical information and project updates to a range of stakeholders. Experience using CAD software and/or tooling design principles. Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and MRP systems. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Strong organisational and project management capabilities. Injection moulding, ceramics processing or related manufacturing technologies.
