Butler Rose Public Practice is delighted to be supporting one of our clients who’s got an amazing opportunity for a Senior Accountant who has a passion for corporate tax. You will take ownership of a portfolio focused mainly on corporate accounts and corporation tax returns.

Role Requirements

  • Preparation of statutory accounts for limited companies.
  • Drafting corporation tax computations and CT600s.
  • Managing a portfolio of corporate clients.
  • Liaising directly with clients and HMRC.
  • Reviewing work prepared by junior team members where required.
  • Supporting students and contributing to workflow management.
  • Preparation of management accounts and other ad-hoc assignments to support the firm’s advisory services.
  • The work is predominantly corporate focused, not personal tax heavy.

Personal Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in UK accountancy practice.
  • ACA or ACCA students actively studying will be considered.
  • The ideal candidate will not only come with a passion for traditional accounting but also for real-time reporting to aid meaningful conversations with clients.
  • Strong experience preparing corporate accounts.
  • Experience drafting corporation tax returns.
