Butler Rose Public Practice is delighted to be supporting a growing and ambitious accountancy practice in the recruitment of a Corporate Tax Senior to join its expanding Tax Advisory team. This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional looking to develop their career in a pure corporate tax advisory position. The role offers exposure to a broad range of complex advisory work with large corporate and owner-managed business clients. Please note that candidates from a purely compliance background will not be suitable for this opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver corporate tax advisory services to a varied portfolio of UK and international clients
- Advise on restructures, reorganisations, demergers, management buyouts, Employee Ownership Trusts (EOTs), and business transactions
- Support clients with business structuring, incorporations, profit extraction strategies, and due diligence projects
- Assist with tax accounting, corporate tax reporting, and advisory support around compliance matters
- Work alongside Partners and senior team members on complex technical projects
- Build and maintain strong client relationships while identifying opportunities to add value
- Support and mentor junior colleagues where required
- Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge across corporate tax legislation
Key Requirements
- ATT, ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification (CTA or CTA part-qualified desirable)
- Proven experience in corporate tax advisory within an accountancy practice
- Strong understanding of UK corporate tax legislation and commercial tax planning
- Experience advising on corporate restructures, transactions, and strategic tax matters
- Strong communication and client relationship management skills
- A proactive, analytical and commercially focused approach
