Temporary Accounts Assistant

Join a busy manufacturing business that's looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant who can step in, make an impact from day one, and keep the finance function running smoothly during a busy period.
Start: ASAP
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Location: Office based, 5 days a week
What you'll be doing
- Processing high volumes of purchase invoices
- Supporting sales ledger and credit control activities
- Bank reconciliations and payment allocations
- Assisting with supplier statement reconciliations
- Providing support with month-end finance tasks
- Working closely with the wider finance and operations teams
We're looking for someone who
- Has previous Accounts Assistant or finance experience
- Can start immediately
- Lives within a commutable distance of Carlisle
- Is confident working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Has excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach
