We are working with a well‑established and highly regarded accountancy and business advisory firm in the North West, currently looking to appoint an Insolvency Case Administrator to join their growing and collaborative team in Bolton. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with solid corporate insolvency experience who is looking to take the next step in their career, with scope to progress from senior level through to Assistant Manager.

The Role

You will join a busy and supportive insolvency team, managing a portfolio of corporate insolvency cases from initial handover through to closure. The role requires someone who can hit the ground running and take ownership of cases across a variety of work types.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage insolvency cases from pre‑appointment through to closure
  • Work across a range of case types including CVLs, MVLs and Administrations
  • Undertake investigative work, including CDDA‑related tasks
  • Support the progression of cases through appointment and reporting stages
  • Liaise with stakeholders including creditors, directors and external parties
  • Assist with identifying potential asset realisations and billing opportunities
  • Support and mentor junior team members where required

Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven experience within corporate insolvency
  • Strong exposure to pre‑appointment, appointment and investigatory work
  • Experience handling CVLs and Administrations (MVL exposure beneficial)
  • Ability to manage workload independently and prioritise effectively
  • High level of attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Confident communicator with a proactive and positive approach
  • CPI qualified or working towards (desirable, not essential)
