Audit Semi Senior | Audit Senior - Independent Accounting Firm Hitchin (Hybrid) £30,000 - £40,000 DOE Butler Rose Public Practice is delighted to be supporting a well-established and growing accountancy practice in Hitchin with the recruitment of an Audit Semi Senior / Audit Senior This is an excellent opportunity for an ACA or ACCA part-qualified professional with practice experience to join a supportive audit team.

Working with a varied portfolio of clients across a range of sectors, you will take ownership of audit assignments while continuing to develop your technical skills and progress your career within a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities Lead audit assignments from planning through to completion Prepare audit files and working papers to a high professional standard Liaise directly with clients throughout the audit process Identify audit risks and communicate findings to managers Support and mentor junior team members Ensure assignments are completed accurately and within agreed deadlines Key Requirements ACA or ACCA part-qualified Minimum 3 years experience within a medium-size UK accountancy practice Experience leading audit assignments with minimal supervision Good understanding of UK auditing standards Strong communication and client relationship skills Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines Previous experience supervising junior staff Knowledge Case Ware (highly beneficial) What's on Offer Salary of £30,000 - £40,000 depending on experience Study support and professional development (where applicable) Hybrid working (after probation and dependent on experience) Clear career progression within a growing practice Exposure to a varied client portfolio across multiple sectors Supportive and collaborative team environment Interested?
